Really - House of Bikes is an area gem! They are consistently fantastic with good service and genuine friendliness. I so appreciate that they talk me through all repairs - making me an equal in it all. I'll keep going back to them!
The older gentleman was not friendly at all, however I do still like this bike store. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

I had called to get a quote able a brake cable for a Next brand bike. I was told between 7 to 10$. Upon arriving with the bike, one gentleman waited on me and then went to the back area. Then another gentleman asked if I wanted to drop my bike off. I said no, that I was just needing a brake cable and connector. After moments, came back with a cable labled 4.99$ But with connectors the total was alittle over 11.74$. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable, would definitely do business with them.
I originally purchased mine and my husband's bikes here. I take them bake yearly to get tuned up and checked out each year. If I need any help in between I bring it to them. They don't try to upsell anything. They just help with your needs. If you ask, they recommend what they think will be in your best needs.
