On the flip side, communication/management was a 2-star at best. We had them come early summer and quote us, told them we want them to do it, and didn't hear anything until mid-December; after I was told it would be 4-8 weeks. I understand weather plays into it, but no contact for that long is troubling. Fast forward to after the work was done. Had a damaged deck box, asked if they had a policy for that and they did so we settled on $200 to replace the box. We're told they will get a check to us. 2 months later, still no check. I had to call everyday until they mailed it. I hate being that guy, but it needed to be done. Then when it did come, it was $100. So we started all over again and 2 weeks later got the other $100, but not before I had to be that guy again. My wife has worked for a large company in their accounting department, if they owed money to a customer, that check was written and mailed within the day. Very poor management brought this rating down and hopefully something can be fixed within the company to rectify this so similar situations don't take place.

Overall we are very pleased, just the timing and lack of communication on when our roof would actually be started on kept the 5th star from coming.
Honest and did the job right. Had a new roof on and the roofers never replaced the flashing. They came and assessed the roof, gave a quote and fixed it the next week. I will use AJ Construction all the time.
We were very impressed that it only took them a day to complete the roof but we have found well over one hundred nails in our yard since and with several small children who spend a lot of time outside this was a cause for concern. After calling to discuss, they made sure to schedule a quick stop by to roll the yard for excess nails.
Quality of work is a 4-star rating, the work they did was great and we love the roof.
AJ Roofing was referred to me by a friend and I'm glad they were. Our roof needed re-shingled after a few storms blew through and the job they did was very good and very well priced, with one neighbor saying they now had "roof envy!" A minor complaint I had was that it took them over a month and a half to get to our job, which was partly due to weather and other jobs in front of ours, but after being told it would only be a few weeks it became a little frustrating.
