The management has always been horrible. The current manager will lie directly to your face about things you know are factual. The turn around rate for employees is ridiculous so every time you call to ask a question, you have to wait for a call back from the manager, if you even get that. They cut your grass without even giving you a notice and then charge you $35 even though your grass is not out of regs, but your neighbors grass is double the length (and I am not the only one that has experienced this)! They hired a pool guard last summer and he told my niece's they had to leave the pool so that his daughter could swim and then persisted to throw racial slurs "N***er this and n***er that" at us. The manager came to our house the following day demanding us to come outside and speak with her and yelling about us "disrespectimg" said pool guard, banned us from the pool for the remainder of the summer and then later they hired said pool guard in as the full time maintenance man. When you get a survey from Sun Communities and fill it out telling them your experiences - the supervisors email you back to tell you "Well, from my experience working with whomever I never encountered that!" - Your point? My review was not based on your experience.
I cant even go to the pool without a person 18 or older ...THERES A NEW FLIPPING POOL RULE EVEYDAY
I had no choice but to move here. They said it would be ready on a certain day but when that day came, it wasn't ready for another 4 days. So I had to pay for a storage unit and moving truck for 2 days. I previously rented through the company they're affiliated with and had major issues there. If I had other choices I would've taken those.
It would be a great place to live if the management was better.
Never fix anything when asked. It takes multiple requests before maintenance comes to service property. They never enforce rules such as parking on the street. This blocks emergency vehicles. Also you can rent a 3 bed actuall house for this amount.
